Antique French walnut dining table from Ch. Jeanselme & C°, Paris, who were a supplier of furniture to the Imperial Courts of France, circa 1890. Opened in 1824 as Jeanselme Freres, with the stamp changing to 'Ch. Jeanselme et Cie' in 1883 which was used until 1930. You will notice, that true to form, the French rarely if ever make their leaves from the same material as the table, for they always use a tablecloth. This table is no different and although we can replicate the leaves in matching French walnut, it would be a rather expensive proposition. We still currently have the matching buffet and china cabinet available, should you be interested in the suite.
Condition: Completely restored both structurally and cosmetically
