Years ago, we imported from France a really old rustic table top, dating easily from the early 1700s and we were told at the time, that they thought the table top was actually much older. Regardless moving forward, we located a set of (4) antique French farm house table turned legs and mix in some old French reclaimed hard wood and you have the perfect recipe for a rustic dining or Farm House style kitchen table, which would otherwise be impossible to find. What we have, is essentially a 300-year-old table top that we left virtually untouched, a set of (4) 150-year-old French table legs, along with an apron that we faux colored to match the Farm House table top. There is one corner of the antique Farm House top, that looks like is was eaten away and we talked back and forth about installing a new corner, which we are happy to do, without cost.
