American Mid-Century Modern Desk Dining Table

American Mid-Century Modern Desk and Dining Table

American Mid-Century Modern Desk Dining Table
American, Mid-Century Modern desk, that converts into a dining table when closed. Designed by Hari Matsuda in the late 1970’s and this particular desk, along with its matching credenza were the original prototypes built around 1979 and later patented in 1985 by Mr. Matsuda. The finish is black lacquer and is in horrible condition. Our finishing department is very capable of restoring the desk and credenza, but I know, as soon as I lacquer them black, someone will call and want them repainted a different color. So, we are offering the two pieces as is, or restored to your specifications. The interiors are beautiful in both pieces and appear to have never been used, for anything other than a dining table and buffet.
