Antique French Confit Pot

Antique French Confit Pot

Antique French Confit Pot
What’s a confit pot, is constantly being asked in our Old Plank showroom. These stunning yellow glazed pots, were used for preserving various foul, but mostly duck. Typically, the confit pots were placed in a stone lined larder, which served as a cool environment, in which to store the duck, which was covered in its own fat. Now days, the French confit pots make for an ideal way to decorate your country French kitchen. Please note two small hairline cracks. Two cracks.
