Antique Stove Repurposed into an Island or Bar

Antique Adaptive Reuse Stove into a Kitchen Island or Bar, Built-in Ice Holder

Antique Stove Repurposed into an Island or Bar
Admittedly this was a risk for sure, for who would take a turn-of-the-century antique French stove and change its intended function. Suppose in real estate, you might call this; adaptive reuse? Well, our Old Plank restoration department took an antique French stove and adapted it to become a kitchen island, or a floating bar or even a built-in bar? The polished brass cover seems almost as though it was originally intended to hold ice, in order to keep your white wine properly chilled? The blue front is the original vitreous enamel, but the side have been redone. All of the burners are still intact under the carrara marble top and the back is just a painted black surface. We feel quite safe in calling this a one-of-a-kind. CONDITION: Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Basic cleaning and refinishing the sides and back. Please pay close attention to all detail photos.
