Antique French buffet, in mahogany and what I believe could be bird's-eye maple, that was used for the door inset panels. Soon as we spotted these incredible, oversize brass arrow design escutcheons, we knew we had to purchase this French buffet. The entire overall build quality is way beyond your average antique French buffet, from the solid oakwood used for the drawer boxes, to the solid wood used for the drawer bottoms, to the handmade dovetails. Every little detail helps makes this antique French buffet, just special. The drawers function like butter and do not drop down upon opening and all the keys work as originally intended. No prior visible repairs in the marble top. Even the finish of the mahogany, only required polishing and not restoring. Beautiful piece that was very well maintained.
