American, Mid-Century Modern credenza, that converts into a buffet when closed. Designed by Hari Matsuda in the late 1970s and this credenza, along with its matching Mid-Century Modern desk or dining table were the prototypes built in 1979; later patented in 1985 by Hari Matsuda. The exterior is black lacquer and is in horrific shape. Maybe the best thing one can say about the paint, is that is it all original. Our Old Plank restoration shop, is more than capable to restore both the desk and credenza, but I know, as soon as I paint them black, someone will want them repainted a different color. Therefore, we are offering both items in as found condition, or fully restored to your specs. Both the buffet and desk interiors are gorgeous and appear to have never been used. **Depth provided does not include the .75" hinges.
