One of the best tables we have ever offered is shown right here! This exquisite example of craftsmanship dates all the way back to the middle of the 17th century, 1640-1660 or so, Constructed to last a lifetime and it has several times over; this phenomenal table has an endless supply of character and charm. This table offers solid white oak construction and has some of the heaviest drawers we've ever experienced. The extensive stretcher joined baluster base, remarkable and graceful scalloped aprons and that incredible heavy hand-wrought iron hardware are completely off the charts. We believe this table began as a true French Farm Table and still easily could be (with correct dimensions) but, it leans more towards a console, sofa or work table. Perfect behind the sofa and used when you have extra guests for supper, as an intriguing and unique library table in the upstairs loft or as a welcoming foyer table greeting guests and family into your abode. No matter how you ultimately deem as fit, this table is sure to WOW, even the fussiest collector.
As far as conservation goes, I sent this table through my shop and found it needed absolutely nothing. It is strong, sturdy and obviously built to last. We loved its original finish and figured any antique connoisseur would love it too. This is one of those very rare finds that isn't for everybody but, if it's for you don't delay—call today.
