Outstanding original antique French mirror in its remarkable original gilt frame with sugared glass. Use this fine mirror horizontally or vertically, over a buffet in the dining room or a sofa in the living room, also ideal in the hallway or foyer over a fine commode or console. This mirror is in original condition with its original patina (see detailed photos). Sugared mirrors are so called because when a mirror reaches a certain age and the air has interacted with the original mercury or silvering, a sparkling "sugaring" appears.
