French solid oak trestle table, with the most unusual stretcher connecting the trestles and if that was not different enough, look at the copper flower inlay on the tabletop. This must have been made for someone very special and it looks like it was produced in the early 1900s. Structurally sound and other than going through all the joints, we just cleaned and waxed the table while leaving the patina intact. Some in the trade are beginning to call this; “a sympathetic restoration,” where all the natural patination stays in place. We have always been an advocate of restoring an item, while making it appear as though you never touched it.
