French Trestle Antique Dining Table

French Trestle Antique Dining Table
Found near the town of Pamiers, located at the foothills of the Pyrenees in the south of France, this is a massively thick white oak, over the top, beautiful rustic genuine antique French trestle dining table and not some faux antique made from reclaimed timber. This is the only really old dining table that we have ever seen with hand-forged steel lopers that pull out from each end to accommodate extension leaves. Although the leaves were long missing when we came across the table, our Old Plank workshop is more that up to the task of fabricating a pair. The entire table was structurally rebuilt professionally and once again we chose to leave the patina along, although we will not charge should you want a particular stain applied.
