Now there are antique tables and then there are really old antique tables and this falls into the latter category. One of my best friends from India used to tell me, that he did not consider anything an antique, until it was 400 years old, well, he would have approved of this “Antique” French farm table, that was made in the 1600s, or at least that is the professional opinion of the expert who looked at it in France and we agree. Our Old Plank workshop, carefully disassembled the French farm table, restored all the joinery and put it back together, all the while making it appear that it remained untouched. We made a conscience decision to leave the top surface alone, but should you wish to have the voids filled, our Old Plank restoration department can meticulously inlay old pieces of French wood and they will appear to be 200-year-old plus repairs. Speaking of the farm tabletop, the wood is a mixture of French walnut and oak, with an incredible patina. There is one massive drawer at the end of the farm table, perfect for placemats and napkins.
