Circa 1820-1840 Louis XV style armchairs with unbelievable old paint, and in fact, the paint is so good and authentic we are studying it to see how well we can duplicate it. There is old paint, and there is paint restoration like some dealers prefer to call it, and then there’s the real thing, and it does not get much better than this. Old mohair has seen its better day, and I am sure the springs and padding will need to be restored, but the frames are structurally very sound and require no work. I have to tell you that the mohair was bright yellow when new, which gives you an idea of just how old these chairs really are.
Condition: Structurally very sound, but the mohair is filthy and should have new padding installed
** Seat height is 17.5"
