Olivier Gagnere's Cafe Marly Set of 4 Armchairs

Olivier Gagnere's Cafe Marly Set of 4 Armchairs
Unusual suite of (4) armchairs known as the model; Café Marly and probably produced in the mid-1980's. Born in 1952, Olivier Gagnère is a self-taught designer of ceramics, furniture, glass, interior design, metalwork, and product design. His clients include Cartier, Christian Dior Parfums, Lancôme Parfums, and Van Cleef. In 1983, he received an Appel Permanent grant from the VIA (French Furniture Association); in 1990, the VIA awarded him a Carte Blanche grant. In 1998, he was declared Creator of the Year at Maison & Objet, Paris. The fabric appears to be original and has seen better days, but we do have an in house upholstery department, should you be interested in having them recovered? We will consider breaking them up into two pairs.
