This is one of those impossible to find items, an old super comfortable, all original leather chair. Soon as you sit down, it is already telling you that this is a proper napping chair and when you lean back, the top of the chair embraces your neck in just the perfect location for a quick snooze. Could be English or French and most probably dates from the very early 1900s. We found this rarity in the town of Bayeux in Normandy, just a few miles from the English Channel, which probably helps to explain why the leather is still supple. Our Old Plank upholstery department opened up the arms and seat bottom and carefully re-tied each coil spring and re-padded with horsehair. Just a great old leather chair.
**Seat height is 18"
