In the early 1990’s my wife Robin and I were walking through the Puce in Paris and standing right along the curb on the sidewalk was a French sheep, for a then mind boggling $5000 and without any hesitation what-so-ever, I told my wife to forget the Sheep, for who in their right mind would pay that much for a fluffy sheep, made by a French sculptor, that I never even heard of. For how could I have known that what a sheep would fetch hundreds of thousands of dollars years later (made the same mistake with a Ferrari once). Ever since that moment, we have been searching for an affordable solution and with each sheep, there was always something just a little wrong, or out of scale.
The sheep in solid bronze you see here, was my answer, great face and will you look at those legs? How could you simply not fall in love with this sheep sculpture? Available in resin, or in solid bronze with real fur as shown in this listing. Almost forgot, they also double as a stool.
Price is for one sheep (in the style of).
