ARMOIRES

The ideal storage solution in an impressive and elegant form, vintage and antique French armoires come in all shapes and sizes.  If you want to make a unique statement in your bathroom décor, a smaller and narrower armoire, or “bonnetiere”, is the ideal. As the name implies, the French used them for storing bonnets and shawls etc. 

Two and three door armoires provide even more storage and our clients have found many creative uses for them: flat screen TVs, for example, can be nicely concealed behind those beautiful carved doors with the sensational patina.  Styles to look for include Louis XV with Rococo carvings and Louis XIII with gem cut doors.
