Antique French Rococo Walnut Nightstand

One of the nicest antique French bedside commodes or nightstands we have had in quite some time. It is in very nice condition with some restoration to the door and light surface scratches in the marble. These used to be rather plentiful, our store always had 3 or 4 pairs and 7 or 8 singles, no longer the case. This beautiful nightstand has all the right components, walnut construction, intricate carved details, and a stunning original marble top. The word 'Rococo' is derived from the French word \"rocaille\", used to describe the rock and shell work of the Versailles grottoes and this shell motif was carried over into furniture carving.
