We love to help our customers and take pride in our inventory of beautiful furniture, most of which comes from France and England. The company is family owned and run and has been in business for 15 years. We have a full restoration and finishing shop on site so we can guarantee the quality of our restorations and know that the work has been done to the highest standards. Our preferred wood types are walnut, oak, cherry, mahogany and country pine finished with beeswax. We also specialize in painted furniture with distressed finishes, both reproduction and original antique painted finishes.

We also have an extensive collection of superb reproductions and can have many items custom made in a variety of materials and finishes, just give us your specifications and we will give you a quote. If you need design ideas or advice, we have an interior designer in-house.

One of the questions most frequently asked about Old Plank Antiques is “How do you go about buying and importing these European treasures?” As well as the employees here in Westmont, we also have a full time employee based in Toulous in the South of France who co-ordinates the purchase and shipping of these wonderful pieces you can see in the store and on the web site. The owners also make buying trips to Europe to bring you the very best of what is available.
