Description
Antique walnut Louis XIII style throne chair with extensive hand carvings and scrolled arms. The lower frame comprises turned legs and H-form stretcher. An intricately carved cross piece depicting scallop shell, fleurs-de-lys and acanthus leaves joins the front legs which stand on carved plinth feet. A settee and two other armchairs are also available from the same set. France circa 1860
