Description
Antique walnut Louis XIII style throne chair with extensive hand carvings and scrolled arms. The lower frame has turned legs and turned H-form stretcher. An intricately carved cross piece depicting scallop shells, fleur-de-lys and acanthus leaves joins the front legs which stand on carved plinth feet. A settee and two more armchairs from the same set are also available. France circa 1860
