Antique French Henri II Carved Figured Walnut Fauteuil

Wonderful example of old world French craftsmanship at its finest. This beautiful chair would make a great accent in the living room next to the fireplace, as a charming and comfortable boudoir chair, or in the library behind one's desk for reading or paying bills. The frame is in nice, structurally sound condition; the upholstery, springs, padding etc need to be replaced, all of which can be done here on request. The seat height is 18.5".  France circa 1880
