Spectacular pair of antique French gilt wood Louis XVI style bergères. Pairs of chairs like this are a rare find and highly sought-after. Most great design firms use Louis XVI style furnishings, partially due to its compatibility with all other furniture styles and periods. These chairs are not only aesthetically pleasing but are quite comfortable too. The frames are in very nice, structurally sound condition and they have been reupholstered in silk fabric.
