Large Scale French Anduze Planter

Impressive large French Anduze pot decorated with a sunny yellow glaze, swags and medallions. This pot is weighted with concrete and would probably accommodate a small tree. Huge pots like this one are not very common, though we currently have two. They are from the late 20th century and have had expert restoration, being reinforced with concrete, epoxies, and a special polymer, making them ready for use (see detailed photos). We intentionally left some cracks and chips to mimic the patina of antique pots.
