Pair Antique Italian Throne Chairs

Incredible pair of antique Italian throne chairs with unique winged backs. These chairs are truly one of a kind-- well, actually, two of a kind. The wood-tone gives us the idea that these great chairs may have been gilded at one time. The are beautifully carved with unusual double finials on the stretchers and are in nice original condition, structurally sound and have old nail heads. They do need new springs and padding. The seat height is 19". Italy circa 1820
