Antique French Louis XV style cherry bonnetiere with full steel hinges, beautiful steel escutcheons and a hand-dovetailed drawer. The front and sides are solid cherry which is unusual and means it is high quality (cherry was rare and reserved for the front of a piece and the sides were mainly chestnut). If the stain on the front bothers you we can fix it but we think it adds character. The measurements shown include the crown, the body is 36.5" long by 24.75" deep. France circa 1740
