Antique French hand-carved armoire in the style of Louis Phillipe made from beautifully figured book-matched walnut. Carved rinceau adorn the frieze which rests below the overhung cornice; acanthus leaves highlight the door frame.The interior is fitted with the original shelves and drawers and there is an additional drawer in the base - all drawers are hand dovetailed. This armoire has been fully restored both structurally and cosmetically. France circa 1870
