Pair Antique Hand Carved Buffets or Cabinets

Pair of hand-carved antique French Louis XV oak buffets with beautiful basket carvings, scalloped aprons, hand dovetailed drawers and an interesting wheat detail on the lip around the top. The extensive carvings give the thought that these fine buffets were commissioned for a certain person or family, as most furniture pieces are not as elaborate. Though these are each slightly different in depth, they would be spectacular flanking a fireplace, in a dining room, in the entry, or even as nightstands in a spacious master bedroom suite. Please note that the tops are different (one wood, one stone), but that can be easily changed. France circa 1880 The measurements shown are for the buffet with the wood top. The buffet with the marble top is 42" high, 55" long and 20.5" deep. Please note that the height is the same, but length and depth are slightly different.
