Antique French Carved Oak Server with Mirror

Beautiful antique Louis XV style carved oak server with marble top and mirror. The bonnet top surmounts a carved frieze with a fruit and flower basket centered in a frieze of acanthus leaf volutes. The framed beveled mirror below rests on the original marble top which is surrounded by wheat motif molding. The lower section comprises two drawers with carved rinceau fronts over two doors with carved asymmetrical panels where the fruit and flower basket theme is repeated. The scalloped apron has a centered sunflower flanked by drapery swag carvings; matching hutch also available. France circa 1880
