Set of six French chrome and leather side chairs designed by Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) who was one of the most influential designers of the Modern Movement strongly influencing Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret. Perriand chose these chairs to furnish select apartments at Les Apartements de la Station des Arcs in Haute Savoie. There is photographic documentation of this in "Editions du Musee des Arts Decoratifs/Flammarion" 1985. These chairs are in good original condition, the missing stitching has been replaced by hand leaving the original leather intact. Seat height is 17", the price shown is for six chairs.
