Heavily hand-carved petite antique French oak writing table with barley twist legs and stretcher. There is a center lock for the two hand-dovetailed drawers, one with dividers. Heavily carved drawers include griffins head pulls. This desk is in excellent original condition and structurally sound; the drawers and lock function perfectly and only beeswax was necessary for restoration. There is some wear to the carvings from age and use. France circa 1890
