Spectacular antique French Louis Philippe book-matched burled walnut 3/4 scale commode. The awesome artistry that has gone into this amazing chest is almost startling, to think that over 130 years ago, one person had the woodworking skills and the eye to make this exquisite, one of a kind piece of fine furniture. This superb commode also has bronze pulls, hand-dovetailed drawers and a marble top. It is in excellent fully restored condition; there is a small chip on the front right corner of the marble and some surface scratches. France circa 1870
