Pair of Vintage French bombe commodes, so-called because the sides are "blown out". The marquetry artist was very innovative and creative, inlaying the same pattern in both pieces but using different colored veneers. These chests are in excellent condition and were refinished the old fashion way with layers upon layers on hand applied French polish.
