Antique French Carved Vaisselier

Monumental 9'5" heavily hand-carved French hunt cabinet or vaisselier. This cabinet is an absolute masterpiece with its deer adorned pediment, beautiful barley-twist accented glazed upper cabinet with hand-carved griffin supports, barley-twist accented lower cupboard with two drawers and hand-carved quail, fishes and fauna designs. This cabinet is in nice condition and is completely hand-crafted - these pieces were usually commissioned for private customers and were highly decorative as well as functional. This style of cabinet is extremely useful in today's home, it could be used in a dining room, study or as a bar. France circa 1880
