Outstanding pair of antique Louis XVI-style side chairs (two pairs available). The gilt-highlighted hand-carved frames are complemented perfectly by the original petit point upholstery which was made from an 1880 tapestry and is 3/16 of an inch thick with a sateen border. They are in very good original condition - see photos which show minimal wear to the upholstery. Seat height is 18.5". France circa 1880
