Antique French walnut Henri II style desk with turned legs and acanthus leaf hand carved detail. The wood shows exceptional graining and the unique top has a central inset leather panel flanked by inset wood panels. The  hand-dovetailed drawers, which have oak linings, are compartmentalized and have locks and keys in good working order. This desk is structurally sound and has been refinished (the rear leg will be straightened in our restoration shop). France circa 1880
