Splendid pair of original antique French oval carved and gilded picture frames with new mirror creatively put behind the original wavy glasses. This charming pair with ribbon and tassel motif, could easily be converted back to frames with their original glass still intact if you preferred to use them that way. The reason we put the mirror behind the glass is because it gives the new mirror an antique appearance and conserves the glass for future use. This pair is extremely enticing and in nice original condition. The original glass has some scratches and imperfections as you would expect with antique glass. France circa 1860
