Exquisitely carved antique French walnut bed. This stunning bed has an opulent flowing head and foot board with extensive carvings, scalloped side-rails, and an impressive overall appearance. The size of mattress required is 75.5" x 50.5" and can easily be adpated to accomodate a standard full size or queen size mattress by replacing the side rails with metal rails - call or email for pricing. This bed is in nice original condition and structurally sound. The headboard has some worm damage (none active) and some side rail veneer is missing (see detailed photos). France circa 1890
