Monumental 9' Antique French Display Cabinet

A breathtaking example of a French hunt cabinet in solid oak. Highly detailed carving features animal and foliate designs, highlighted especially by the scrolled and pierced cornice with a center carving of an animal head. Heavily carved doors with original glass open to reveal shelving. Unusual ropelike pulls adorn the two lower-stage drawers, which rest atop two doors with hunt-themed carved panels. Circa 1850, France.
