A Henri II style walnut bibliotheque with flared overhung cornice above gadrooned frieze and surmounted by two long fitted glass paneled doors. Flanked by carved interlacing quatrefoil banding, the doors open to reveal four shelves for storage space. The lower framed panels of the doors feature scrolling design centered by floral bouquet and rest atop graduated plinth on tapered supports, circa 1870, France
