Impressive vintage large-scale dark cherrywood buffet in the Louis XV style. The thick green shaped marble top overhangs the case which comprises a central bank of bow-fronted drawers flanked by serpentine doors with asymmetrical panels and curved end doors. The piece rests on six feet, four of which are scrolled with acanthus leaf carvings; scalloped apron with carved central shell motif. France, circa 1930
