A remarkable Louis XV hand-carved walnut server/buffet with breathtaking decorative carvings throughout. A shaped and lipped marble top rests above two carved drawers with a brass escutcheon framed by a  c-scroll design. Two doors with double-banded asymmetrical scroll panels feature high-relief carvings of putti riding dolphins. The scalloped apron is centered by a gadrooned leaf with extending scrolling vines and various foliate motifs. Carved flared acanthus leaves highlight the scrolled feet. A unique piece, this server is in superb condition. Circa 1870, France.
