Phenomenal, museum quality, French Napoleon III ebonized canapé with mother of pearl inlay and gilt string decoration throughout the settee. The seat back features an ornate, pierced foliate carving with three centralized shield-shaped,rose adorned, painted splats. Padded armrests, above a button-tufted seat cushion, framed by a shaped and carved seat rail supported by its cabriole legs. Oppulent is definitely the word to describe this one of a kind settee.
