Description
Original antique French oak box seated settle with extensive hand-carvings. This gothic style bench is a fabulous find and would look great in an entry way or cloakroom. This piece is in very nice original condition and structurally sound, it needed only steel wool and beeswax; very practical too with ample storage under the seat and somewhere to sit while you put your shoes on. Seat height is 21.5". France circa 1860
