Museum quality, extremely fine antique English Mother of Pearl marquetry tray with hand applied gilt trim. Manufactured by the premier papier mache company of the time ( Jennens & Bettridge ), this tray pays homage to several different design influences including Greek with an outstanding key motif. It is in spectacular condition and has unparalleled style and grace. The hand painted wooden stand is from a later period. England circa 1830
