Antique Italian Hand Carved Walnut Draw Leaf Table

Outstanding hand-carved Italian walnut draw leaf table that can seat 10 with the leaves extended. The intricate carvings really make this an incredible piece of furniture. Notice the intricate carved male and female figural carvings on each of the four tapered legs, although very similar, each is unique. This table could be used as a dining table, sofa table or a center hall table because it is finished on all four sides. It is in excellent condition having been structurally rebuilt, there are some small chips in the finish on the top. Tables like this are few and far between - it is very old, beautifully made and is useful as well as being a work of art.  The length with the leaves extended is 102.75". Italy circa 1650
