Description
Petite vintage Italian églomisé chandelier with beveled and scalloped mirror, acanthus leaf detail, original canopy and chain and the original paint. Verre églomisé, from the French term meaning "gilded glass", is a process during which the backside of the glass is etched then gilded with gold, metal leaf or paint. This chandelier is in excellent original condition and has been rewired for the USA in-house. Italy circa 1940
