Antique oak wedding armoire from Normandy which we had shipped to England to be limed. The process takes 6 months and begins with submersion in a caustic tank. Upon its arrival in the U.S., the entire armoire was taken apart and rebuilt to compensate for shrinkage. This piece has been in Chicago for the past 10 years in the owner's personal collection and functions perfectly. France circa 1870
