Antique English Folk Art Hand Beaded Victorian Pillow

A phenomenal example, this antique English Folk Art pillow, shows some of the finest beaded handiwork of the late 19th century. The scene portrays a majestic Gothic tower, a pair of swooning birds, a sea, and a Royal Palm. Whoever beaded this particular pillow (probably a noble lady with time to fill) did excellent work and obviously had some of the best training of that time period. This wonderful pillow has been cared for its entire life and shows no wear or missing beads, it even retains the original tassel trim. One of the detailed images shows the cording as loose, we can easily have this re-sewn. The height shown includes the tassel, the pillow itself is 30". England circa 1880
