Wonderful authentic vintage French Louis Vuitton vachetta leather traveling trunk. This great trunk has an outstanding patina showing years of use and it is in great original condition retaining its original interior lining and removable tray. Our in-house Old Plank Road craftsmen could make a stand transforming this trunk into a unique coffee or sofa table. Vachetta leather has been left untreated making it more susceptible to water, staining, and darkening with exposure to sunlight - it was popularized by Louis Vuitton as his preferred leather and is still utilized today in his luggage and handbags.
